Remember if you are travelling to Amex.....

Post by travellingman » Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:32 pm

.....BHAFC pay some of your travelling costs.

If travelling by train you only need to buy a ticket To Haywards Heath. From that point Albion pay the rest of the return journey to Falmer (the Stadium) whether via Brighton or Lewes stations. Both these stations have plenty of good pubs, cafes etc. nearby. The same arrangement works if travelling from Worthing in the west or Eastbourne/Seaford in the east.

By car, the club run two park and ride sites. The best one from London is Mill Road which lies to the west of the first roundabout you come across as you enter Brighton at the end of the A23. As you park buses are waiting to take fans to the Amex and also return at end of match. Parking and bus are free.
The other site at the Race Course is not so easy to find and is better placed for people travelling in from the east of the city.
Both sites do get busy early. There is no on street parking around the stadium. However, there is limited parking at the stadium but you must contact the club beforehand to book same.

You can find out much more about the above, the club and the city at (Mods approval) www.footballcities.co.uk This website is non profit making but helps charities.
Have a safe journey.

Yes and you can use the Gatwick express down there and change at Brighton to get to Falmer with a ticket just to Haywards Heath return as long as you have a match ticket. The GE is the fastest train down there.
