Sadly for us all when the dwarf enquired about this report, and was apparently about to offer the world's best footballer a lucrative contract plus the clincher, a bedsit over Flavas Pizza shop in Roman Road , it was revealed that the great one can only leave the Camp Nou on a free for a non European club.

The Barcelona president indicated he would listen to offers of a financial nature so our beloved leader asked for an indication as to the size of fee which might encourage the Catalans to sell. Unfortunately upon hearing Senor Bartolomeu's response the dwarf collapsed in a heap and was rushed to the University College Hospital in Westmoreland Street.

Doctors have decided to keep him in hospital for observation and his current condition is described as comfortable although he is still suffering from severe shock and anxiety.

Rounding to the nearest whole numbers makes them pointless.

Eventually maybe. But I don't see him leaving Barca for a while yet tbh.

Yeah thinking about it, I actually tend to agree. He's certainly got 2 more years of elite European football in him and Barca would be beyond foolish to let him go in the summer. He's still the biggest name in world football and is a marketing departments dream. I imagine the global shirt sales alone are ridiculously valuable!

There is more chance of me winning next year's London Marathon wearing a Father Christmas suit than Messi playing in the PL next season.

Do we agree Mr Whisk ? I don’t think Messi would cut the mustard over here now.
Especially at his age.
