Biggest plus for me is how we performed as a defensive unit with 10 men.
Last season we’d have lost that game, almost certainly.

It seems to me,every time he refs our game,we either have a player sent off or we lose.

Whether it`s his own player or not,El Ghazi should have been sent off for violent conduct.Has usual with the officials, they seem to go blind when it involves us.

We were poor tonight in the Final third, but when you are down to 10 men for nearly half hour, you have to be happy with the point.

For me this game shows me that we are still work in progress.
We have improved so much in so many things and tonight we was very good in lots of aspects of the game but we still are not the finished item.
I believe by the end of the season it will be,when everyone knows what is expected and our side is a settled one you will see us rip teams apart with a brilliant keeper and solid defence.
And as for that cunt Dean,I not wasting my thoughts on him,you know what you get with ,a cunt.
He is the numbers of refs.

Decent possession but our best player is Fabianski. Must say something I guess .
All the saves his made,Villa have been offside.

We need to do better in the 2nd half.
The one he made in the first half (McGinn I think) wasn't offside. Great save.

Can’t believe how many free kicks we fucking wasted.
Corners were generally wank too.
Must do better at this level.
Tbh Tone I thought we were very poor. Haller was stranded up on his own with minimal support from the midfield and when you play with a single striker support from the midfield is vital. How much effort did Heaton have to put into that game ? I only noticed him once in the first half, when he went full length to collect a header from his own LB. Our midfield today was shocking imo. Anderson and Lanzini couldn't find the killer ball, Yarmolenko couldn't get into the game and Noble was appalling. I lost count of the number of times he lost the ball. And tbh with Dean in charge he could easily have seen red at the end of the first half for a blatant dive.

Obviously the last 25 minutes were affected by yet another poor decision from a very poor referee but with the amount of possession we enjoyed in the first half we should at least have created something. Still, a point's a point. It could and should have been so much better but it could also have been a lot worse.

Declan was easy MOM tonight. Most tackles won. Most interceptions and passes.
