I think they should mint one of those commemoration gold sovereigns for him I do for all the good he's done for the East End.

Stratford would be an absolute shit-pit swarming with immigrants if it wasn't for him.

Gawd bless yer Mister Gold. You're a toff.
You're on form today my friend.
I doth my cap to him, it's not every day you can waltz down to Haroons 24/7 corner emporium and pick up a copy of the Jewish chronicle to mull over whilst having your boiled egg.

He makes money at your expense because he cares.

You'd spend it all on cheap booze and wank mags otherwise you ungrateful cunts. He's 104 and you still have the gall to slag him off. He used to play for us you know.

Honestly.

This site.

Here here.
Those were the days, when men were men and sheep were afraid. Tearing up and down the wing, with his ringlet locks flowing in the wind. Then home for a quick bowl of lockshon.
And he scored the 5th goal against the Hun in 66!
Ungrateful swines.
And during the war he put up 25.000 locals from the bombed-out dockland ruins in his Anderson shelter. Treated them to fish suppers every night and paid for Flanagan and Allen to serenade them out of his own pocket. Cockney salt of the earth.

They had to drag him to that mansion in Caterham they did. He didn't want to go but his Mrs. made him.

Not only that, but he was married to Vera Lynn. And did shows for the troops.

I know. They kept that quiet because he'd have been a target for the Hun.

He built the Cabinet War Rooms for Churchill himself you know with an old garden trowel because all of the spades were needed to dig up the spare land to grow carrots.

Not a lot of people know that.

People on here just don't realise that his football career was cut short after sawing off one of his own legs to feed a family of seven from Stepney.

It shows the measure of the man that long before brain injuries due to heading footballs, he deflected a V1 with his own dome, thus saving a family of 14 hiding in a caravan in Lewisham.

Not to mention heading to Dunkirk with a boat made out of powdered egg cartons and rescuing 300 troops from the beach.
