Euros now off until 2021.

The sensible option.

And all of the experts agree. Breathing space as they think it's imperative that the leagues conclude.

Some time in 2022.

Looking at all of the permutations for each scenario, based on the assumption there won’t be time to finish 38 games this season, it does appear that the path of least resistance and legal wrangling (albeit STILL a big one) is to void the season.

A cunt on Liverpool, Leeds, Brom and others in the promotion hot seats but the “stop and declare as of now” option will open up a lot more legal rabbit holes and matters based on subjective opinion.

But hey what’s all this?
Surely the well-oiled & efficient ‘machines’ of The Premier League and The FA will already have clearly documented and concise legislation for such cases of force majeure?
So there’s no room for debate surely?
Of course they will have a clearly outlined strategy, ready for immediate implementation Tone , how ca any of us believe otherwise?

In other news it has been announced that another symptom of coronavirus is an irrational and overly positive belief in the ability of the powers that be to differentiate between their arses and their elbows. ;)
Every reported death to date from this disease has mentioned specifically that the patient has expired due to underlying health conditions. It's like their saying, what can you do - it's their fault clearly

So the state - strangely enough - is completely exonerated of any blame in their handling of affairs and it's all the fault of people not possessing the right-stuff or that person in China who did what shouldn't be done...

Putting a finite date on it is fucking madness.

Some scientists are saying it will be over in 2 months. Others are saying 2 years.

But I'm glad that those who run football double-up as health consultants. It's reassuring.

I'm no scientist but I don't see how a virus, any virus, can ever be described as "over". Surely it will remain with us in the same way as flu for example. And just as has happened with flu in time an antidote will be produced.

But I do agree putting a date on anything at present is silly. But, hey, the bookies have got to find new ways of parting us drom our money.

My money is on June 27th. Decent odds too. ;)

It’s a target to work towards Al , nothing more.

Personally I’m just glad to see a bit of positivity no matter how unlikely.
