Fuck no! Especially when Lucas Perez is STILL available for less than £14M. Why we aren't all over him like a rash is beyond me. Fucking bloke can play anywhere along the front line and would give us so many more offensive options.
Good shout, pacey too. Him Antonio & Arnie would be off to the races! Doubt he'd come to us to be 2nd fiddle tho
:D :D :D

In my defence...

Nope. Got nothing.

Just a bit of fun. Makes interesting reading some of the comments. In your defence I will state at least it wasn't Hugill or Hogan :D :D

Can't say I can judge the player fully on the very few minutes i've seen him play for us. Certainly off to a slow start, but much like a few of our current squad, I won't rush to judgement. Maybe you can dig up my defending Arnie at the beginning of last season and asking that we give him time seeing as you're good at this kind of thing ;)

Well to start with it was posted in a light hearted manner. In regards to Arnie anyone who has the slightest ability to know a good player, or should I say a player with PL ability, would have known that he is a player who met that standard and anyone who didn't doesn't know much about football. As regards Perez I have never felt he would be suited to the PL for the simple reason his record at Arsenal supported that view i.e if you can't score goals at a club like that who created chances for fun then it suggests to me that you aren't good enough.

We could also resurrect the Leander Dendoncker one as well.

Since he was put forward as the next great holding player, he had a shit World cup and then managed something like two games for Wolves. Looks like we swerved one there. No wonder he was crying when we didnt buy him.

And I wonder how Carvalho has done at Betis in his 14 games there. Doesnt seem a lot !

And on a slight tangent Gary Rowett, who some saw as a replacement for Moyes, has just been sacked by Stoke. What's the betting Moyes or Allardyce turn up there ? Or will Steve Bruce out recycle them ?

Den Donker has now started a couple of matches. He played in the wins against both the Dippers and the bacon-dodgers, but I wouldn't read much into that. By all accounts he didn't rip up any trees.

It shows you need to be careful forking out big money, and the dwarf is a master at that. Today's papers have Medel the only rumour of any substance and a transfer in the region of 8m looks increasingly likely. I'm not overwhelmed by this but I'll trust MP's judgement.

As for Stoke and the Messiah, they're made for each other.
