Den Donker has now started a couple of matches. He played in the wins against both the Dippers and the bacon-dodgers, but I wouldn't read much into that. By all accounts he didn't rip up any trees.

It shows you need to be careful forking out big money, and the dwarf is a master at that. Today's papers have Medel the only rumour of any substance and a transfer in the region of 8m looks increasingly likely. I'm not overwhelmed by this but I'll trust MP's judgement.

As for Stoke and the Messiah, they're made for each other.
Master of what ? Forking out big money or being careful about forking it out ? If Carroll and Wilshere are anything to go by he should be more careful what he spends it on. I'm guessing they were both his signings and not the then manager's.

I'm no accountant mate. But for some reason he's never baulked at big wages. Maybe they're more tax deductible.

Forget Barbosa. He's joined Flamengo in Brazil on loan.

Get Jack Sparrow instead.

With Balbuenas injury I've put a few £ on us signing Gary Cahill at 16/1. Ideal signing for the rest of the season?

Just a bit of fun. Makes interesting reading some of the comments. In your defence I will state at least it wasn't Hugill or Hogan :D :D

In other news.

We've opened talks with Bristol Rovers for 21 year-old left back Michael Kelly.

I know quite a few 'Gas' fans round my way and they reckon he's got a big future.
