Confederations Cup

Postby Taansend » Sat Jun 03, 2017 11:02 pm

Anyone give a fuck?

They're making a big deal out of it here even though the USA ain't in it this year.

In Group A is Russia, New Zealand, Portugal & Mexico while Group B contains Cameroon, Chile, Australia & Germany (is it divided by alphabetical order :i am genuinely amused: ).

It all kicks off two weeks today when Russia host the Kiwi's & the final is on July 2nd.

Winner of A plays 2nd in B & vice versa.

I think we'll see a Chile v Russia final. You should probably bet on that. I know my shit :ugeek:

Interesting to note that Germany have never won this & Brazil have taken home the last three.

I picked Portugal just because they hadn't had a vote yet. Ronaldo will win it

Portugal just scored against Mexico. The Ref gives the goal, the crowd cheers & Portugal celebrate.

Then, 15 seconds later, the Ref holds one hand to his earpiece & the other in the air. Everyone waits with baited breath, and we see a little quarter screen of three blokes in a studio hunched over tv screens.

It's disallowed (there were about three players off side) and the game carries on.
