Help me settle an argument

Postby Taranis » Sat Jun 17, 2017 9:35 am

I had a chat with my Spuds supporting neighbour yesterday over a beer, and the conversation turned to transfers.

Eventually it got round to the piles of shit we picked up last season and while bringing up Gokan Tore we couldn't agree on how to pronounce TORE.

I thought it was pronounced TOR-RAY while the smug spud git insisted it was TOR.

Now I think it should be pronounced CUNT but that wont settle the argument. Anyone know for sure how it is pronounced? Now I know this isn't an important or pressing topic but I cant let the glory seeker next door get the upper hand.

Well I did a video and pronounced it as 'Torr' and got a load of hate mail from Turkish fans who insisted it was 'Tor-eh'.

They seemed very passionate about it too so I guess I'd got the pronunciation wrong.

Well Tore in English should be pronounced TOR, but how he correctly pronounces his name you will have to ask him. I'm gonna say you are both right but in different circumstances. There again I could be wrong.

P.S You could always ask Mr Bilic.

Just to settle the argument you are both incorrect.

Tore was actually born in Cologne, Germany which has a large Turkish population. Turkish is spoken differently there and the pronunciation is "Klu-less Fucker"

It's not the principle. It's the money.
