What a win , especially with the team that was out there , just dont know what he has done to the players , and especially Arnie . I for one have never seen him play so well , his attitude is the one reason I didnt want at the club , but we are not seeing any of it , he is showing all the talent we knew he had , but just didnt use it consistently enough previously . Just shows you what fitness and organization can do for a team , and a manager who can implement it . Now to get in some players who can make us even better  .

I am firmly in the "Grandad camp" regarding his overall (very limited) ability BUT what I also have added (particularly during many a Payet debate) is WHAT HE DOES SEEM TO BE GOOD AT is galvanising and pulling the team together.

Thats what we have been recently (not all the time) and hes not actually been involved in it all BUT WE ARE MORE OF A TEAM when he is there.

There is a much better reaction from players.

Does that make him a good player?!

Not in my eyes (still slow, too one footed, lacking in quickness of thought etc etc).

But what it does is make him GOOD FOR THE TEAM (at times).....and thats to be complimented.

Shame bout those 4 pts,stolen/thrown away gainst Palace and Bournemouth

Be sat in 9th now eyeing up that 7th place...still doable...

Teams in front of us are in freefall at the moment, but Leicester will nick it I think,
But be more than happy with 8th all things considered....But want much more next year.

But must still replace Kouyate/Obiang...one or both, Imperative...

Fuck It's nice to be Happy on a Sunday morning...

With Him and Ginge playing.....We're just a better team.....That's it really.....

Start of the season, doesn't start for me,now first name on team sheet (at the moment)
Would love to see Rice start Playing a few games alongside him, looking to take over Nobes's
Role,in a year or so's time..

Think he's a lot better player than you give him credit for tho Porter..

Thanks guys.

I was critical of Kouyate's performance in the first half, but blimey, he ended up setting up those 3 second half goals!
