I think the point is that they had no obligation to go to the meeting. The general feeling seems to be that the march should have taken place to demonstrate the strength of feeling. Although reading the comments from Newham Council it looks as if there was never any official plan for a march.

Massive cock up all round imo.

Thats cobblers...I do know that for a fact.

The plod had even allocated extra coppers to police it...

You really couldn't make it up could you...although it would be handy to let people know when you leave early doors 8-)

Well they shouldn't have gone then and just marched. Thats what the ordinary fans wanted and expected. Sully played the organisers like an Irish fiddle and came out trumps.

I think "organisers" is a bit unfair to anyone who is actually an organiser ;)

As i keep saying...without AS and MM there would be nothing to moan about, you have to give them that.

You want to meet some of them.....

There are also a lot of very good people though. Sadly they are outweighed by plastics who really believe football is better watched on a foreign website.

The amount of members who actually go is far less than 1%....including the fella who owns it.

There are many members that never post anything about football...ever.

Its a shame because ten years ago it was a great place

I took a group of 47 to china from there...every single one a great friend now. If i ran it now i'd be lucky to get 4 people who were members.

Sad.

I felt in the end that i had nothing to do with the members I was moderating, rather doing jokes about "Your Mum" than chat about winning 2-1.

Anyroads.....i suppose he's doing rather well out of it so it was me who was the fool.

I still meet up with the great people on the boat trips...a very big bonus of working on there. Great catching up
