You are joking I assume. The "fan" had no business being on the pitch and any half qualified lawyer would get any assault case thrown out of court. I am no fan of Noble the footballer but I can't criticise his actions on Saturday.

Protest by all means, like the crowd in front of the directors box did, but FFS what did that fucking idiot, or the silly sod holding a corner flag, hope to achieve by running onto the pitch ? Apart from a possible short stay in one of Her Majesty's B & Bs.

Agree and as for Noble.....good on him....the cunt on the pitch got what he deserved. Silly prick was just trying to get himself some publicity so he deserved a slap.

The only cunts on the pitch was them pathetic excuses of players and the even bigger deluded cunt on the sideline whose face looks like an 80 year olds ball bag.

Well after reading the story posted by NM I understand the flag bit, as for Jesus maybe he was a decoy.(tongue in cheek)

I understand what the gesture was supposed to mean. But my question is whatdoes anyone invading the pitch, with or without accessories, hope to actually achieve by doing it?

There is a right way and a wrong way to protest. Running on to a pitch during a game is breaking the law and therefore not likely to attract too much, if any, sympathy. Demonstrating in front of the directors box is legal, as is the carrying of banners and flags to make a point.

That banner about people creating storms and being upset when it rains was brilliant imo and it has been featured in a lot of the mainstream papers. I ask you. Wiould you rather see that as the face of a West Ham Fan protest or some middle aged geezer waving his arms or a corner flag around ? More importantly which method is likely to get people who otherwise wouldn't give a fuck, onside ?

People who claim to be modest usually have a lot to be modest about.

The players played badly but what's new...that happens at football.

But anyone thinking that the melts who ran on the pitch acting like spoilt children would do anything other than bring shame on the fans and club rather than the board would have to have the intellectual capacity of an amoeba.

the only way you will get change at our club, is protest

if you break a few laws on the way, so be it

a porn baron protected by bad people, don't give a fuck about whu tv or these forums

direct action or a massive downturn in money, are the only two things gonna work

want change, look above

noble was a cunt, especially as he's a local lad and knows the score

That's fantastic mate, but there's no shame bringing attention on our situation by our fans
Silly marches outside the ground won't achieve being g rid of these bullshitters ruining our our club. The only shame brought on us has been by the board and the disrespect they show our fans.id back our fans taking more direct action against this board all day long. There is no shame from our fans.

I agree that marching never achieves anything. The last march that did was the suffragettes.

The rest of the above is in my opinions a complete load of bollocks. I am currently listening to the radio where West Ham fans are getting slaughtered on the news as being thugs.

All this pointless stuff will achieve is having us deducted points and relegated proving the fans are just plastic and would prefer to get rid of popcorn etc than help the team stay up.

We will have to agree to disagree. Protest in the ground worked before!
