Southampton sacked manager Mauricio Pellegrino

Post by Ibbyham » Mon Mar 12, 2018 10:19 pm

Another got the bullet, Pardew may follow very soon.

Too many sacking managers in the PL this season, especially the one that appointed last summer. My opinion against those who sacked.

Crystal Palace - De Boer sacked after just only 4 games with 4 losses and no goals. No patience from owner. - WRONG! need more time to turn around.

Everton - sacked Koeman after Everton forked out £150M on players that are mostly flopped - AGREED as Everton gave him time and he failed to deliver.

Leicester City- sacked Craig Shakespear after a poor start - WRONG! - He just signed 3 years deal and no patience.

Stoke City - sacked Hughes as Stoke enter relegation zone. - AGREED - He did not upgrade teams with better players.

Swansea City - sacked Clement after they were in bottom 5. - WRONG - he was only appointed 1 year ago and need more time and try to get better players in January to improve squad.

Southampton - sacked with 8 games to go and is it worth it? New manager will come and will beat us come March 31st. - WRONG as it is a wrong timing to sack and the owner should know that there is no room at the INN for PL.

Watford - sacked Silva as they lost 5 games in a row as Watford slip from 4th to 11th. Ridiculous! - WRONG as Silva is clearly a good manager and ALL teams, including BIG teams have losing runs of 4 or 5.

WBA - sacked Pulis after they haven't won since first 2 games of the season as players not happy with him - WRONG as Pulis has record that he has never been relegated and Pardew is no improvement either. Owners unsettled the teams!

West Ham - sacked Bilic - AGREED after a poor start and the board gave him warning and he failed, mainly the crap coaches he has inherited and should have got rid of them last summer and he paid the price.

TOTAL sacking this season in PL alone = 9

This might make our job even harder now. If Saints get the "New Manager" effect we could find ourselves in the relegation zone with no idea where the next points are coming from.

Watford - Silva - CORRECT decision - overrated, lost focus and made it clear he wanted to move on

WBA - Pulis - CORRECT decision to sack him WRONG decision to hire Pardew (one of the worst PL managers ever)

Southampton - WRONG sacking Claude Puel - CORRECT sacking Pellegrino as going down otherwise....players have downed tools.

Southampton fans deserve relegation. They demanded Puel be sacked after last season when they finished 8th. Think about it. EIGHTH. That's second best of the fixture fodder. Just where do they believe a selling club like Southampton should be in football's hierarchy ?

I demand answers. And I demand them now. Why is there only one monopolies commission ?

Yep, Hughes favourite.

Council notice.

Please put your old managers in the recycling bin provided.

Moyes, Allardyce, Pulis, Hughes, Pardew, Hodgson, Lambert.

But it's very rare that someone comes from left field and works straight away. Saints did it with Pochettino, and for all the fanfare about Marco Silva, he did actually get Dull relegated. And like us they are desperate for points. I'm not sure if Hughes is good or bad news for us, but either way it'll be a fun day out on the 31st.

It's not the principle. It's the money.

Serves them right for sacking Puel for playing 'boring football'. Look at Leicester now compared to them.....hardly boring !
