Calleri - it's all okay....

Post by Olas1 » Sat Aug 13, 2016 6:37 pm

A lot of chat about who owns Calleri and why we have only taken up a loan on the player. I think we have one hell of a player and he will no doubt be very much in the shop window at West Ham!
For a further understanding of why a player was loaned out by a Uruguay Second Division team with a stadium capacity of 22,000 please see the following link! It kind of explains the full story, make of it what you will!?!

So basically hes a cash cow, or what ever the term is. But at what point does he become less of an asset ?

A good person does things in silence, others strive to be seen as good so scream out their deeds.

This is the worse signing possible.
Shows we have not moved on since the days of Dani, porfirrio and Futre and still have bullsh#tting owners.
Very, very small time signing.

Does anyone else feel like this is the same type of deal as Tevez/Mascherano? Hopefully we've covered our tracks on this one because the bloomberg article is claiming one of the lawyers involved with Tevez had shares in this second division club in Uruguay. Good player or not, it's not clean business.

They'll loan him out till a big money team comes in with 40/50 mil bid. He will always be an asset to them unless FIFA actually chooses to get rid off 3rd party ownership at which point teams like this won't be able to afford to sign him in the first place. Saying that, he probably wants to go to a big team and the club would want the money so he will have to perform for us, if he scores 20/25 goals for us then I couldn't care less about what they do.

So what you are suggesting here, is that we have loaned a player from a club - who themselves have him on loan - who are sub letting the player for a greater profit.

However, both clubs must be in agreement, otherwise the club holding his registration would cry foul and block the loan.

Unless of course, the Prem rules disallow clubs, from loaning players from clubs who don't own that players registration.
In which case somebody is in the shit and we all know our club is red hot when it comes to clear interpretation of employment matters.

If he plays and scores goals we can sort all the crap out at the end of the season. If he makes no impact he's back to whatever club owns him.
