Absolutely right, they were also of a generation where the premier league was in it's infancy and the money was increasing massively from year to year like never seen before. Seeing the difference between then and now this young England team, I think the lesson has been learned by the FA and the graduation of these players from youth levels, that have won tournaments together, to the senior squad seems to be paying dividends.
