West Ham United are delighted to confirm the signing of Ukraine international Andriy Yarmolenko.

The exciting, prolific and versatile forward has joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The talented Yarmolenko has enjoyed a hugely successful career with Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team, scoring more than 175 goals and registering well over 100 assists, being voted Ukrainian Footballer of the Year on no fewer than four occasions.

He will now test himself in the Premier League for the first time.

They say he is a player that is better suited to the English Premiership then to German Bundesliga , we will have to wait and see and I look forward in baited anticipation for him to show us .

Pellergrini will be spoilt for choice with - Hernandez , Arnie , Yarmolenko , Anderson , Wilshere , and to get Lanzini back what a problem to have , and if Carroll ever gets through the season without injury what a player to have , and then we have the likes of Holland in the wings and maybe a couple of other youngsters pushing for a place .

This is what you need Clay.. Aguero struggles to get in the city team. Rashford Man U. You need quality players making the ones in the team play to their mark , week in. For last 2 seasons we have had players who think they just need to turn up and their place is assured.

I respect your comments usually mate but having Noble and Obiang as holding midfielders in a pellegrini system is frankly laughable ( is that comment over the top ?). I cannot see either of them capable of covering the forward runs of Fredericks or Masuaku , and as for those key passes to turn defense into attack which of them has the speed of thought or the ability to make them . I can see Pellegrini playing Wiltshire alongside a proper holding midfielder like Steven N’Zonzi , with Yarmelenko , Anderson , Arnie and Hernandez up front depending on the opponent , whether in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-2-2 formation .
