Us ex-pats here in Canada get to watch 95% of the games live through TSN, Fox Sports, Sportsnet and Sportsnet World - yay!
On Sportsnet World there is a program called Premier League Today which is produced by Premier League Productions out of London. It's a 90 minute program shown every weekday and it is syndicated to most footballing countries around the world.
The Monday show is usually the best, with Mark Pougatch, Dion Dublin and Don Hutchison, who are great fun to watch.
So the first show of this season was on yesterday, and I was waiting in anticipation to see if it was Don and Dion (even though it was a Wednesday), and instead they rolled out Paul Scholes as their new star pundit, and the boring twat just looked at his shoes for the whole 90 minutes picking his best players he has played with and against. All the charisma of Glenn effing Roeder.
It's not really a West Ham story (even though I did shoehorn Hutch into it) but I thought I'd rant about it anyway.
I am sooooo looking forward to this season.
