Our current squad - native languages

Postby ToneLoc » Fri Aug 10, 2018 8:27 am

Well, after such a frantic and busy transfer window I just wanted to get the demographics of our squad down.
I often wonder if language plays a part in squad balance and harmony? Or in the modern age is that poppycock?
Based on our current first team squad, here's the breakdown on native languages.
These are based on assumptions via birthplace and nationality:

English - 13
Spanish - 9
French - 3
German - 1
Portuguese - 1 (2 if Xande Silva is in the first team squad).
Italian - 1
Polish - 1
Ukrainian - 1

Manager - Spanish

Shame we lost Stuart Pearce in the coaching staff shakedown. You could have added Pidgin English to the list. That is one thick sod.

People who claim to be modest usually have a lot to be modest about.
