The lack of accountability is mind boggling.

Don't know what it's like your side of the pond but over here "lack of accountability" and public office go hand in hand.

I read this as 'Incompetent West Ham vice-chairman'.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

Whole thing smells dodgy to me, from our point of view its great but it does raise the question why did they just not sell us the stadium?

People in charge of the whole thing did an absolutely terrible job negotiating with us or they are corrupt, either ignorant or malicious. Either way, we got a good deal financially for now, but if it wasn't my club being subsidised on tax payers money I would also be pissed off.

With that said, blame definitely lays with the stadium owners and politicians not us, we merely took advantage of their incompetence.

You are obviously quite correct. Unfortunately football fans, including ours, can be incredibly blinkered when it comes to apparent favouritism. What we are seeing with this war of words in the press is only being kept alive in the sporting press by the presence of that old green eyed monster. Envy.

Questions obviously need asking about how so much taxpayers money is currently being wasted by the LLDC on frivolous lawsuits, all of which they have lost, trying to present themselves as the guardians of financial probity. But those questions need asking in the financial sections, not the sporting ones.

Watch it there Whisk, someone could sue you for such slander......
Mind you it's 'not their problem' so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Don't be silly Tone. Firstly you can't be sued for slander or libel if you are telling the truth, ;)

Secondly even if it wasn't the truth, being a public body they would probably first have to discuss it informally, then go to a steering committee (whatever the fuck that is), before putting the motion to the main committee who would spend several months discussing the matter then send it back to the steering committee for amendment. Then back it would go to the main committee who, by this time, will have forgotten what the issue they were supposed to be discussing was.

So they would bundle up all the bits of paper, stuff them all in a big box marked PENDING and trot along to the Treasurer's department to collect their Committee attendance fee.

Freeloading cunts, the lot of them. And in any case wouldn't it be libel as it's the written word ? Or is an internet forum considered "speech" ? Better convene a committee to sort this one out mate. ;)

Of course. And black, muslim, gay, disabled and a shameless interfering fucking busybody, determined to impose their will on the rest of us. All apparently pre requisites for positions in the public sector. A bit like those cunts who insist on keeping the fucking TV licence to enable the BBC to produce programmes that nobody actually watches but which, we are told, are good for us, because THEY say so. ;)

The fuckers knocked on my door and asked if we had a licence for the T.V. I told them no, and i dont watch BBC, and dont like being dictated to what i can or cant watch. , in fact its not even tuned into the channel. He told me it didnt matter still needed a licence, and asked to come in. I refused cause he couldnt do nothing unless the T,V was proved to be working or on at the time. Didnt hear a thing afterwards.
