They complement each other perfectly and for a combined £24m is excellent value too.

Balbuena did a tackle that lead up to the first goal yesterday which was superbly timed and executed.
Looks like the bargain of the century at what 3 Million?

Been a while where we have played over 10 games and no one has slagged off a center back at some point.

Diop looked right awful from start to finish. I see what Geo was saying about him being clumsy. Not sure if we should stick or twist with him though. Maybe Rice in for him against Wolves? Masuaku definitely needs to make way for Cresswell though

Diop looks a £2m player but he’s not the only one at the back who’s just bloody awful

I think bombscare Ogbonna needs permanently binning

Not sure it would paper over the cracks BD if scored a hatful.

Rice is busy , Diop looks like he’s a level or 4 above where he should be, yakmylegtho has potential , I like obiang...the rest a bit shit.

I shall immediately throw myself wuffly to the floor for suggesting Diop was shit.

Get the love in with em but must get more switched on and aggressive defending corners/free kicks.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

Hard job slating either early doors. CB in the PL is a hard ask when a player's coming from abroad.
I thought they were both exciting signings. More pressure on Diop because of the fee, but both have massively stepped up. I can't think of more than 3 or 4 CBs in the whole of the PL I'd swap either for.

Oh, and numbers opinions, much like numbers the West Ham supporter, aren't real.

Diop was always going to be decent. Our record signing before Anderson . He represented France from under 17 to under 21 level and was captain of Toulose before his 21st birthday. I wasn't sure about Balbuena but as we can see he is solid.
We played 3 at the back last season with wing backs. Would have loved to see Ginger in the middle of them 2.
