Have we moved to the next level?

Post by 21212 » Wed Dec 05, 2018 3:24 pm

A certain euphoria around the club.
Beat Newcastle and Cardiff
Anderson being hailed as a great

Is this what the next level looks like?
Does this week make the OS move worthwhile?

Yes your right their is a certain euphoria around the club .

Yes your right we did beat Newcastle and Cardiff , haven't had consecutive wins for quite some time .

Anderson being hailed as great - can't say I have seen that comment but he is certainly looking better then some of the AM/Wingers we have had recently , so he's a step in the right direction .

Is this what the next level looks like ? , I should doubt it , but it looks to be going in the right direction with MP and his team at the helm , lets wait and see what the future holds before we make comments like that .

Does this week make the OS move worthwhile ? , I would say that is a very good question , We all knew when we made the move that this rebuilding project would take time , and now that we have the right manager in MP its in its early stages , for me its about football , I want to see good attacking football played well , it doesnt have to be winning premiership titles though it would be nice just to win it once , I personally would prefer a decent cup run every season . The OS move is what the future holds for us - not saying its what I wanted but progress is inevitable , so I am happy to jump on for the ride , if you dont like it get off .

It's called....Enjoying Football mate...

Supporting your Club, and wanting the best for it and the fans...

No Euphoria from me....I'm Happy, Granted, we're showing signs of being a club, that sides don't
wanna play against,I like the idea of that.

Got me eye on 8th this year,a lot of us will be happy with that, but me Personally want more,
like I've said before...I still want us knocking in and around 4th to 8th,regularly...
That's my Target for us.....if it happens it happens,if not...I'll still support us,disagreeing
with things maybe...but still supporting,no digging out...just disagreeing.

You reckon Anderson is shit........bloody hell mate.......

The Move made the opportunity for "Next Level" available, whether it's taken or not is another
matter.

Hugely Disappointed so far,at the moment would go back tomorrow,but....gotta believe
it'll come....gotta support it for the next Generation of fans to take over, make it a home...etc...

Remind me, the mediocre Arsenal team that drew last night with Manu.....who we beat a few matches ago by the odd two goals.....maybe we are moving on to the next level.....how come our numerical friend does not mention this and the Everton and Burnley matches to his post?

We have certainly moved on a level. We are now back to the level we were at in Slav's first season and by that I specifically mean, that we as fans are looking forward to the next game with interest and expecting to see us having a go and playing decent football all over the park. Something we never did under Allardyce or Moyes.

For me one of the most telling changes was Anderson's third goal against Newcastle, in the Moyes and Allardyce era's we would have been retreating after going up 1 nil and in double retreat if we had reached the giddy heights of a 2-0 lead; having brought on as many defensive players as possible to protect the lead. Pellegrini has already played more kids than the Dudley Dinosaur did in the Prem and I think we all know that the side won't give the season up when we hit 40 points. For me Pellegrini was the best signing of the summer, followed by Diop, Fabianski, Anderson and Balbueno; and 3 of the 4 appear to have been bargains!

Can we now move on a level and compete for 5th to 8th place? I certainly think we can and we can have a proper tilt at the FA cup.
