Massive relief. Think we started very well and in the first 20 minutes should have been 2/3-0 up. Then the nerves kicked in.
Fernandes was impressive. Although clearly not his position.

Huge win though. Coyi

On the train with shit signal so not had a chance to read through yet.

Funny game with neither team totally committed to winning and both had far more defensive minded players than attacking. Jubilant scenes at the end and a good day all in all but a few cracks were papered over today imo

Think we deserved the win as we were the only team interested in attacking.

Striker situation is a concern.

But that's what you get when you go for loan deals instead of spending actual money...

Never noticed it in match, but just watching it back on sky match choice
Reid should have had a penalty as he was held trying to get past their player.
Also Obgbonna was been held at a corner by O'Shea who never looked at the ball once. Now didn't Stoke get a penalty against Man City when sterling held of a Stoke player while not looking at?
Where is the fucking consistency? We get fucking nothing of Refs?
When the last time we got a bloody dodgy decision to our way??
Well pissed off at the moment, and slightly pissed too.

Fernandes looks to me to maybe being the solution on the occasions both Payet & Lanzini are absent .
In his proper position he will create . Looked good going forward today and I hope he plays against Chelsea . He'll catch a few teams unaware this season .
One of our better recent acquisitions for sure.

He played alongside Obiang as a dm against Accrington and impressed. Looked able to turn defense into attack. Good cover for Noble was my thought.

Perhaps the last one scared them to part with their cash. Spent a fortune on him and he spends more time in the doctors surgery than he does at the ground. :)
