Four at the back works better than three

Nordviet did extremely well in this game

Fernandes looks great and is prepared to turn and run forward

Kouyate also provides this but with much less skill and control

I actually think Kouyate, Obiang, and Fernandes may be our best midfield three

Our passing is still not very accurate nor are we particularly fast

Well done West Ham, onwards to Leicester

Thanks again for the updates, fellas. Sounds like the performance wasn't as convincing as the result but maybe improving game on game? Happy days though. Merry Christmas :)

Can't comment about Nordveit but good if that's the case.

Also recon your right re Midfield.

Would still be absolutely prioritising a top class Central Midfielder as don't rate Obiang.

I'm gutted, it's the first game of the season I haven't watched the full 90 mins because I've been in bed all day due to a hangover and we win 4-1, happy for the 3 points though and looking forward to match of the day, COYI!!

You don't rate Obiang? Think you might be on your own regarding this.
I think most hammers would have him in their top 3 players of the season so far?

Don't mean to be unkind fella but " in our top 3 players of the season" at this stage would be like comparing a broken arm with a broken leg and a broken neck!!!!!

I don't have " a top 3" or indeed " a top anything"!!

I think they have all with possibly the exception of Antonio and Reid ( at times) VASTLY UNDERPERFORMED.
