At the Boleyn Ground, the pitch was 100.5 x 68m as ground staff could not make the standard length due to the confines of the Stadium.

Thank you kind sir.

I coulda sworn the info I read earlier was different but considering I can't remember who said it or what thread, I'll go with what you say :)

That was C and P, but further investigation shows The Boleyn 64 wide not 68.

Guilty as charged sir . It would appear the PL have changed their rules in the last couple of years since what I posted from the Beeb website.
Dunno but does this favour top 6 clubs ? I know Spuds pitch is the smallest in the division .
Or at least it used to be and might explain their shit form at Wembley in the CL ?

Big pitches favour the nippy fuckers mate, that's all I know and it was proved Wednesday. But that was also against a slow team

FFS, a cunt in work was whinging about pitch size, stop looking for fucking excuses,
simple answer is we are nowhere near good enough to compete with the top half dozen if they are on form and City was brilliant, albeit with a lot help from ourselves.
As I say to my wife it's not about size it's about making the best of what you have, our pitch is comparable to the majority of Prem team's so there is no excuses home or away.

So stop fucking clutching at straws and get on with supporting our team.

Hey Guys.

My Name is Manuel and i am a huge Hammersfan from Nuremberg, Germany. West Ham are my favourite Team in England and finally i managed to come to East London to see them live.

I am going to visit the Match against ManCity with a friend of mine. On the official Website i saw, that the ticketsale is going to start on March 12th. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to get tickets for this Match? Can i buy tickets on this day too as a "normal" fan or do i have to have a Claret-Membership?

i saw that there are only a few tickets left for the Match against Burnley and now i am a little bit "afraid" of not getting tickets for the Match against the Citicens.

Thanks for your Answers.

I am so looking forward to this Weekend.

Greetings from Germany
Manuel

It's not the principle. It's the money.
