Could well be an interesting start tomorrow for the race.

Charles on Pole and Hamilton demoted to 5th after a penalty. Was 2nd

Verstappen 2nd, Bottas 3rd and Lando Norris 4th.

Vettel at a lowly 9th!....

What a race, no Mercedes in site, apart from Bottas, after Hamilton had a nose change!....

Mad Max elbowed Charles out the way for the final few laps of the race. Superb drive from Lando Norris to come 6th.

Poor old Ferrari, the one race Mercedes are nowhere X2 and they still can't win.
Are they going to appeal this one too?

Gasly for me is under huge pressure. New car, new team, new dynamic. I'd say his struggles are at least understandable.

The Haas car looks pony compared to last year. Though if they're not using a pay-to-drive model you do wonder why they haven't got a hard charging youngster in one of their seats. Yes Magnusson and Grosjean both have their (occasional) moments, but neither is top tier, nor will they ever be.

As for Kubica? I think Williams gambled that some of the magic and talent of old was still there. They were wrong.

You might want to add Lance Stroll. Not even his dad buying him a better car has helped.

I agree with you on Stroll, but despite this, he's had 3 top 9 finishes and overall scored 6 points in the table. Perez doing much better.

The question with regards to Stroll though is has at least matched, or shown the potential to match, the man whose seat he took?
Gasly's disappointing because he's performing nowhere near the level Ricciardo was at.
You can say exactly the same about Stroll and Ocon.

Despite Lewis not winning, I'm happy we got a different team this time. I feel sorry for Charles and thought he deserved the win. But that is racing!...

Some may argue why there was no penalty awarded for Verstappen, compared to Vettel in Canada.. The difference IMO, is Vettel literally rammed Hamilton against the wall, after coming off the track. Hamilton had no where to go, except to back off and avoid a collision.

The case with Verstappen IMO, is that they were side by side during the race, when the manoeuvre took place. Though quite aggressive, still safe and hard racing. Even though Charles was forced off the track.
