Pole number 87 in the career of Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari dominated practice, but that all counts for nothing now. Max Verstappen, who had an issue that he overcame in Q2, joins Hamilton on the front row.

Hamilton
Verstappen
Bottas

Gasly
Raikkonen
Grosjean
Sainz
Perez
Huldenberg
Leclerc......
Giovinazzi
Magnussen
Ricciardo
Kvyat
Stroll
Norris
Albon
Russell
Kubica
Vettel.......

Neither Ferrari makes the top 10 shootout because of poor reliability. You do feel a little sorry for Leclerc, as issues beyond his control seem to be robbing him of a terrific first season at Ferrari.

Yep, true. Although I wouldn't feel too sorry for him. He hasn't been doing his value any harm this season. Last season he was a rookie, and now look at him.
I fully expect that by tomorrow evening he will be ahead of Seb in the championship, despite Seb being the number one driver.
And an interesting battle is shaping up nicely between him and Max.
Lewis is running away with it, which I'm quite happy about. But the Charles/Max battle is still providing the interest.

I can't abide the likes of Stroll and Perez. Neither is better than Ocon, but sponsorship >>> talent.
I realise that smaller teams need that money sometimes, but it seems so pointless.

Pundits believe, that Ferrari problems happened when the new Ferrari engine update or 2nd engine was brought in too early.

Mercedes waited 2 or 3 races before bringing in their 2nd engine, ironing the faults as they went along. Mercedes have several race advantage over Ferrari before being awarded penalties.
