Well Jim, where's that 8 inches you promised me ?

Famous quote from a USA Midwest news anchor speaking to the weather man about the previous day's snow warning.

But it's about that in my back garden this morning.

I’m surprised you can get it up in this weather

Innuendo aside, cars are snowed in on my estate. I had to walk the half mile to Tesco and it's over a foot deep in places.

I live up a mountain and have had snow here for two weeks, funnily enough though, not so much as a single flake fell last night despite all the snowmageddon warnings!

I've got tickets for Jason Manford tonight, a present from my daughter. Impossible to get there and back but I bet the Bath Forum will wriggle out of refunds.

Manford himself will be tucked up in a nice hotel near the venue of course.

I haven't left the house since Tuesday. That's more to do with being a lazy cunt than snow though.
P.s. if I had tickets for Jason Manford I'd pray for snow and a refund too. :D

Yes Nev. But I can't tell her that as it was a present.

Loads of people are tweeting about a cancellation so she may get a refund and she bought ticket insurance.
