England all out for 85 before lunch in a test match against fucking Ireland.
Denly gets into the twenties, the rest of the top 7 amass 13 runs between them.
What a fucking joke.

Only England could go from winning the one day World cup to be all out for 85 against Ireland....only England :(

Murtagh - on yesterdays wicket, would have bowled out the best 11 batsmen in the world. The ball was looping

Lucky England bowled at Ireland on a different wicket then or they'd have been in trouble too.
That wicket was a 250 minimum for any half decent test team. England's batsman just want to play twenty 20 shots. There's no consistency. If every balls a grenade throw the bat, if not dig in.

But in much better weather, it improved through the day.

This morning was the prime example. If you get overcast conditions at lords, and both bowlers constantly hit a length and seam, then you will bowl anybody out, regardless of quality

now, which 4 out of 5 - Anderson Broad Archer Woakes Stone. For me, if the sun shines then Anderson misses out

As good as that wicket might have been for bowling a combined 12 from 6 of your top 7 is bullshit. Poke around, dig in, worst case scenario 3 down at lunch, not 10 down.

As far as I'm aware Anderson isn't going to be fit for the first Ashes test. He tore a calf muscles
2 or 3 weeks ago.
