We've got a thread on favourite sports so I thought I'd put up one at the opposite end of the spectrum. Which sports would you go out of your way to avoid having to watch. Here's a few ideas. I'd rather watch dust settle than put up with any of these.
Tennis
Rugby Union--can tolerate Rugby League because it's faster.
Grid Iron (American Football)
Darts--Not a sport, a fucking pub pastime
Snooker--Play it occasionally but as a viewing spectacle, fucking forget it.
Equestrian Events--Particularly that bloody horse dancing crap. Mrs W is a great fan unfortunately and she gets the right arse when I laugh if someone falls off their mount which is the only thing that makes it watchable imo.
Athletics Field Events--Like spear throwing and lead weight chucking. And fucking gymnastics.
Ice Skating--Another of Mrs W's likes. I love it when a competitor goes arse over tit.
Diving--That's into the water, not the art of simulation on a footy field.
And any other "sport" I might have overlooked where the result is decided by votes given by judges.
Ok other than .....
I like Rugby Union. I used to play it a lot at school and I also go and watch Saracens occasionally.
Athletics since I represented the south of England as a high jumper

Slippery stones
Cannot fucking stand it!
Curling, It’s the only ‘sport’ Scots are any good at...
Ahh yes. Bowls on ice. Didn't I remember the Jocks winning a medal at it not too long ago.? Seem to remember the commentator creaming himself over excellent brushwork. Like he was discovering a recently found bloody Rembrandt.
Aren't the Scots also good at some kind of Tossing?

Good shout. Although your equine leanings cause me to suspect you probably enjoy horse hockey. Polo to the uninformed. Just a mint with a hole in as far as I'm concerned.

I've heard the expression uphill gardener. But that has implications that cannot be discussed before the watershed.
Uphill ski-ing is a new one on me. I thought the only time they went uphill was in a ski-lift so they could go on the piste and come down again. I would probably enjoy going on the piste but not too sure about ski-ing. Uphill or downhill.

Speedway.
Most kinds of animal racing. I can watch flat sprint racing, but Jumps are cruel and any race that lasts longer than 90 seconds is boring.
Rugby League. A game so repetitive you need a shoe sized IQ to watch it. Loved up North and in Australia (point proven, Imo).
Any kind of ice skating that doesn't involve a race. Although, ski jumping aside, most winter sports are for ponces.
And any sport where women whine about equal pay without generating the interest or revenue to warrant it.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.
