I paid the £20 to watch it on nowtv and so glad I did great commentary. What an amazing fight.

How did either of them get up from any of the punches.

Best fight in bloody years! Joshua was v v clever. How he kept Klitscho at bay in rounds 7 & 8, when he was clearly still hurt, showed incredible guts. Having said that VK showed incredible guts, when AJ hit him with two clean uppercuts that both nearly took his head off; neither put him down immediately, but AJ leapt on him and put him down with heavy follow up shots. AJ 4 sports personality of the year anyone?

Incredible sportsmanship from both with those interviews.
Shits all over the tiresome trash talk.

Epic stuff. The HW division is well and truly back. Joshua proved himself tonight. Heart, courage, determination. Turns out it was too soon for him, but he some how pulled it out anyway. Bring on Wilder.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

I don't claim to have seen all or most of Klitschko's fights but that's the best I've seen him and AJ still fought through.

Joshua didn't beat an over the hill chump, he beat an excellent world class fighter with a lot of intelligence, footwork and power.

Klitschko is an excellent fighter with great skill & power. Remember, he won an Olympic Gold Medal.

But when he turned pro his style had problems & he got knocked out a few times.

Then he went to Emmanuel Steward who molded him the same way he molded Lennox Lewis.

Use a 1-2 then lean on the shorter fighter to drain their legs. Then take the tired bloke out in the later rounds. Boring but effective.

Lewis was boring for a 2-3 year period as well. Klitschko's boring period lasted a decade :D

But he showed more tonight than ever before. That's why boxing fans will always love Tommy Hearns over Floyd Mayweather. It's not always about the win. It's about the effort.

As West Ham fans we can relate to that.
