School houses. Herbert (yellow), Hooker (green), Keble (blue) and I think the last one was Farrah or Ferrer, but I've never been inclined to check exactly what it was (red).
I remember those house assemblies well. The art teacher, whose name I've long forgotten, would get his guitar out and we'd have a sing song. Then someone would get the house points cup -- awarded to the clever/well behaved kids.
I do wonder now if all schools had houses, house points and order marks (three of those buggers and it was a lunchtime detention).

i am genuinely amused houses forgot about them

I was in shackelton ,, we had oats .. Hillary and cannot think of the last one and my claim to fame was the last game of the season when first year shackelton played Hillary for who's house won the shield for the year ... Terrance Macmillan stadium and seemed like fucking thousands there and in the dying seconds yours truly hit a worldie unstoppable volley in the postage stamp ...que pitch invasion i am genuinely amused all the older kids knew my name then and all spoke to me from that day
I was the hero i am genuinely amused I went up to collect the shield the next day at assembly  :i am genuinely amused: :i am genuinely amused: :i am genuinely amused:

happy days

Have the milk delivered, plastic containers....But went out the other day to get it in and Glass Bottles...
Funny took me straight back to the old 3 Wheeled Milk float you used to hear Trundling,Clinking
it's way down the street in the mornings, must have driven the Milkie Nuts.. :i am genuinely amused:
Used to love to get the little bottles of orange Juice he used to carry..

Mind you got to remember to wash em out and leave outside.

Glad with the bottles tho,as bit of a tree hugger on the quite... :i am genuinely amused: ,and drive people nuts
with the whole recycling thing..
Even got an answer back once from Terry Leahys office(previous Tesco CEO)bout the amount
of plastic bags they use on home deliveries........sometimes just one item in a bag...
Promised me was being investigated and would make every effort to cut back....

Yeah like Fuck........

No, but I did. He's mob used to ambush us if we fancied pie'n' mash from George's or a bag of chips from Popkin's. It was worth the risk though for the chips and onion vinegar. :i am genuinely amused:
