Jonathan Pie.

He might be just a 'comedy' character, but fuck me if he's not spot on.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

This is brilliant. Although you can see why Tom Walker hasn't got his own TV show.

Why is comedy that satirises news media actually more informative and balanced than what it's poking fun at? We live in strange times.

It`s amazing how so many fall for the propaganda of the media. Many brain washed. If they did their research, they just be surprised.

Thanks for posting this Nev. Even with satire, it relays the absurdity of the whole issue with more eloquence than I ever could.

Saw Stephen Fry share that original video on Twatter and became a fan. This is my personal favourite

There is so much good stuff out there at the moment.

Comedy aside the real debate is happening on YouTube and there are some cracking opinions by some very switched on people about all the taboo subjects.

How long the propaganda of shows like Question Time can continue when there is so much raw and honest debate being recorded by professors & academics remains to be seen

It's good stuff, mate. Pie skewers these kinds of issues and news stories every week(ISH) with common sense disguised as comedy.

I think you're right Gonzo. Unfortunately, in the real world everyone seems terrified of voicing an opinion that may cause offence, or damage their profile.
Places like YouTube and Twitter (for all their faults) at least offer a degree of anonimity. Which does give people the confidence, and lack of consequence, to voice their true opinions.
Though often the sensible and reasonable are drowned out by all the extreme nonsense. Swings and roundabouts, I suppose.
