That's quite funny. You know what's worse that useless, incompetent, ego driven idiot in opposition?
It's one in government. May, Gove, Johnson, Hunt, and let's not even mention that slimy cunt Rees-Mogg.
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but how many flats did Paul Robeson in drag forget to declare? Just as well there's a different law for people like Hunt or he could've been in trouble there.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

Mate, are you sure you're not a labour supporter? :i am genuinely amused: :i am genuinely amused:

To address your point though, you are quite wrong. The major reason we have incompetence in our government is precisely because of the incompetence in opposition.

It's laughable how disgustingly shit the entire shower are if I'm honest, but quite how Labour have failed to jump all over a government as bad as this one and not make any in roads at all is just unforgivable, it really is.

They should be holding that excuse for a government to account, instead they seem to bounce from one disaster to another themselves, allowing our 'government' to do the same.

It's tragic.

I couldn't agree more.

As someone who doesn't look at a political party like a wife or football club who have my allegiance regardless of performance I feel distant enough not to be wounded when someone criticises a politician.

Maybe the Liberals have reamained steadfast and changed the least but their dalliance in coalition with the Tories certainly had an impact at subsequent elections.

The other two however . . . . . . where do I start?

First of all let's look at their identity because both parties have morphed into something completely different to the thing that gained them most success. Labour are unrecognizable from the days under Blair where they had three successive election victories and the same can be said for the Tories and the change from their Thatcher days.

Labour are booting out 'New Labour' constituents at every opportunity and don't even try to disguise their socialist/communist intentions anymore. The Tories are now pandering to anyone that will listen and deserting their traditional vote whilst failing at being pink and fluffy but succeeding in promising much and delivering little.

But getting back towards the topic at hand let's look at their leaders.

My daughter has just been on an adventure week in the Isle of Wight where they did canoeing, rock climbing, hiking etc. At the start of the week they were placed into berths of 10 and the first morning was spent doing a series of exercises to see who out of the group had the capacity for leadership.
The camp instructors then selected who they considered had authority, clarity of thought, inspirational and listening qualities then appointed a leader from amongst each group.

These are basic skills, yet look at the above qualities and think about May & Corbyn. These should be amongts the best leaders in the country purely based on the fact that they desire to lead it yet they are not leaders. They don't inspire confidence, they are weak and pasty, limp wristed individuals who would not stand out in a group of ten never mind lead a nation.

Seriously, these mealy-mouthed pretenders inspire nothing. They covert the seat of PM and schmooze whoever they deem necessary to climb the political ladder. But to lead a nation and front a democracy. . . . .. . do me a favour.

There has been a democratic vote to leave the European Union and it was decided on the parameters agreed by all sides. It was one person one vote and in many respects more democratic than the proportional representation of the General Election yet what have they done? Cameron threw his toys out of the pram and stormed off, may has failed to implement her mandate and the opposition have attempted to thwart the electorate at every turn.

They are sneaky, self-serving turncoat bastards.

So we look at Abbott. She is completely incompetent, she can barely speak, certainly can't add-up, can't remember how and what she's voted on in the commons. She is frequently out-thought by interviewers who seem to know far more about foreign and domestic policy than she does even though she is the shadow Home Secretary.

You wouldn't give her the job on the cashiers desk at a bank never mind help shape British home policy and the civil service :i am genuinely amused: :i am genuinely amused: :i am genuinely amused: :i am genuinely amused: fucking hell it sounds ridiculous just saying it.

Now just because Boris Johnson is a bumbling buffoon who constantly has his foot in his mouth is not mitigation for Abbott and that is what the thread is about. May, Mogg & Johnson could be as effective as Teletubbies in a cage fight but that is still not a yardstick by which to measure Dianne Abbott.

You could entertain yourself for hours on Youtube with her trying to speak, count or recall anything remotely parliamentary but she is without doubt the thickest politician I've ever seen and I've seen Trump and George W Bush.

I despise them all, but as it's the blue lot currently ruining the country for the foreseeable future, I think the extra vitriol is warranted.

I don't like Paul. She is achingly stupid, utterly pretentious, ignorantly racist and appallingly unfit for any kind of political office. The fact Corbyn hasn't sidelined the silly mare just highlights what a complete waste of space he is... not that it needed highlighting.

And, yes, you're right, Labour should be 20 points ahead in the polls. They should be picking off May and her band of stalking horses like fish in a barrel.

Unfortunately we live in amazing times. Where things like lies, dishonesty, incompetence, hypocrisy and unethical behaviour are roundly ignored.
As too my point. I'd politely suggest the bloke who is kicking you in the bollocks is worse than the bloke who's not stopping him from doing it. kickimmuts

State of British politics is shocking, just shocking. Theresa May is, for all intents and purposes gone. Her trying to debate reams of important issues in just one day today has sounded her death knell. Trouble is we'll end up with either Gove, Mcvey, Little Lord Fauntlemogg or Sajid Javid. Fuck me, what a shower of complete shit. It shows exactly how contemptuous the Tories are for the mere mortal working person when they won't even choose the best and most capable politician they have in the shape of Ruth Davidson as their leader. No, she won't grease corrupt palms or service the Old Boys Network, so she's no fucking good.

At least Abbott is just pig thick, mostly harmless and easily ignored - any one of those lot above and the working, lower middle and middle classes are completely and utterly fucked.

Agreed until the last sentence. Abbot is most certainly not harmless.....if she has her way she will do her best to change the demographic of the UK and the white middle class that have also worked all their lives are fucked

And Sajid Javid wouldn't? Christ almighty, we'd be the Republic of Britistan and have had Parliament relocated to Tower Hamlets before the first of his Mullah mates had even had his entry visa stamped.
