Fucking senseless

We are flat track bullies, any sign of pace and bounce and we down tools.

Jennings, Pat would look more comfortable at the crease

When he got out I thought 'you useless cunt. How can you justify your place ?'

You know what, did not even notice that!

But he is not international quality, no chance. The only way he keeps his place, is to become a wicketkeeper

Who was it wanking themselves silly about how great a batsman Jos Buttler was going to be? Agnew? Vaughn?
Doesn't deserve a place as a keeper let alone a specialist batter. One ton in nearly 30 tests and an average in the mid 30s.

True but there aren't that many in county cricket saying 'Pick me'.

The one day game has ruined techniques. Cookie was a throw-back.

Surely it's better to blood some younger players, like Joe Clarke or Liam Livingstone, down the order than persist with Buttler?

Joe Clarke isn't a bad shout but Livingstone's just another one-day player.

Either way if you're batting's not up to snuff, throwing the odd youngster in at the deep end is rarely a bad call.
I remember watching Steve Smith in his first few tests and he looked utter gash.
That said I dare say we'll see Vince or Ballance given an umpteenth chance this summer.

This is going swimmingly well. The windies no 7 & 8 have put on close to 250 runs as I write this and England are 550 odd behind. To be honest though WI could have declared 300 runs ago and would still win comfortably.
