Well I'm not sure what I watched but it wasn't a fight.

Fury seemed intent on trying to act like a caricature of himself, the missus walked in and said it looked like a kid fighting his drunk dad :i am genuinely amused:

This is why boxing is a joke sport.
Terrible, farcical, pointless. Frank Warren should be paying people to come and watch that, not the other way around.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

Have not seen the the fight. From the reports in this thread its not worth watching....

Though when I heard Tyson Fury was fighting I almost laughed. The last picture I saw of him was last year and he was so flabby and out of shape. It amazes me he managed to lose a few pounds :D

It looked like when Laurel & Hardy did play boxing :i am genuinely amused:

That fight wasn't to be taken seriously as a boxing match. He's lost 7 stone & still needs to lose another one or two. W@rren just put him on the bill because it was in Manchester & ticket sales were going poorly. Flanagan doesn't sell well.

Tysons next two or three fights probably won't be much better.

Nathan Gorman, who is a 'cousin' of Tyson, and a direct descendant of Bartley Gorman won his 13th pro bout on the undercard (11 early). Gorman, 21, is tubby & balding but he really knows how to box. Lovely angles, controls the distance well & a decent dig. Trains with Ricky Hatton. Gorman stopped tough Paddy Sean Turner in 3. Turner had never been stopped in his previous 14 bouts (2 losses) & last time out went the distance with Filip Hrgovic, a highly decorated amateur who many rate as the best Heavyweight prospect around. Hrgovic has stopped everyone BUT Turner.

Bartley Gorman was known as the King of the Gypsies & ruled the bareknuckle world for two decades. It was his voice that Tom Hardy based his Bane character on in Batman.

We might well see Gorman v Daniel Dubois next summer although W@rren doesn't like to take risks.

Tough watch......nothing to do with boxing......purely ticket sales/money, if people wanna
pay to watch it, their choice I spose......

Least the Flanagan Hooker fight was decent, enjoyed that...proper fight....
Couldn't split em myself.......6 round advantage.....either way....weird,neither was
6 rounds clear...
