It's not the principle. It's the money.

The sad part is no one really cares about mass shootings over here.

They'll mutter something about " thoughts and prayers" and flags outside of fast food restaurants and trailer parks will be at half mast but fuck all changes.

Guns mean FREEDOM

TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE. The Thousand Oaks killings was the 295th mass shooting recorded in the US this year. The NRA and 2nd Amendment loyalists have blood on their hands but are far to cowardly to ever admit it. The US Govt HAS to do something, but of course they won't. Money and power talks.

Evidently this guys a Marine Corp Vet,was known to be a risk, previous with Mental Health issues,
yet he was legally allowed to own a Glock....with an extended Magazine...it's fucking madness,

TBH not sure if changing the 2nd amendment would make much difference in most cases, but proper risk assessments, like here...Might have.

Not saying it shouldn't be amended/changed....just don't think it wouldn't stop people
flipping and getting hold of a firearm somewhere,it would all just go underground, and be
another money making thing for Criminals..
There's just so many guns, would take a lifetime to get even half of them back.

There are approx 3,000 suicides per year by gun. How many failed/wounded attempts ? Nobody really questions these numbers, therefore adding approx 77 deaths per year by mass shootings, you can see why the whole sorry business is accepted.

And if you add 1,000 deaths per year by accidental shootings, you might imagine the USA has a problem.

But with a population of 327 million, these tragedies are probably what you might expect, given opportunity and tendency to fly off the handle....

Nothing will ever change unless they get rid of the Gun law.

It may take a Generation for it to change, but it would eventually.
