He is better than Dier in that role.

It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

It's a troll thread I know but the answer is "maybe a little", which is totally fine at this point in his career. His position on the field is in the end a defensive one and all about safety. He just transitioned from CB ffs.

His offensive abilities will grow with time and experience, it's already progessed this season comparing to the beginning of the season.

His defensive skills are already top notch.

The interesting part about the yid cunt's troll posts, is that they usually require the rather eloquent explanations that follow.

He is 19 years old...

Dier is 25 next week to put it in context.

I think all that Rice needs now is a goal and a few assists. Does he play safe....well he doesn't give the ball away very much.....if that's playing safe its good enough for me.

He is a defensive midfielder, the main focus of his role is to 'play it safe'. Occasionally he may play an excellent forward pass or make a good run, but his reason for being there is to keep things safe. Hasn't he done well! Thank you for an easy (if boring) question, could the next one be a tad more difficult please. Thank you in advance.

I have already stated on here that yesterday when we went to 2 in midfield, he carried on playing that safe, unexposed game 5 yards in front of the center halves leaving Snodgrass to cover the whole of midfield.
Is Rice protecting his reputation by not leaving his comfort zone? Is he putting his reputation in front of the teams requirements?
You've summed it up in a nutshell, "Snodgrass to cover the whole of midfield ". :D :D :D
