Anyone who thinks that Arnautovic will bring anything positive to the team for the remainder of the season is a mug cunt
Well said that man, everyone calling for Arnie to start needs to look at his goal scoring feats over the last 9 or 10 matches as our principle striker he has managed just 3 goals, 2 of those were against Brighton. Many out of form strikers will at least manage assists for their team mates to score, Arnie has managed 2 all season he is not a team player and will never be again. He has been knocked back now and I think and hope that his team mates will now stand up against him when he thinks he is Billy Big bollocks. Arnie is not a striker, if we had real strikers, where would that leave him, he is a right winger would he get game time over Anderson, maybe a few substitute appearances, clearly he is now finished at West Ham lost his team mates and his mojo, another point nearer the finishing line and we will be able to try out the youngsters ahead of him, then move him on in the summer
Good post Andy but what has Chico done in the last 8 games? He has a look on his face that tells me he is not enjoying it here. Quite a few , reading their body language want out. Arnie....Chico....Perez....Masuaku...and Obaing are the obvious ones.

Would happily hold my hands up if proved wrong, but I feel we have a sulky, Berty big bollocks, who thinks he is better than he is, destroying any team spirit we have. Not interested in how many news articles there are from the team stating how he is a great influence in the changing room, it's just shit PR from the club imo.

Should of got rid in Jan

Neither do I and I'm not a fickle one that changes his opinion of players such as Arnie is wonderful a few weeks back and now he's useless. Oh BTW Nobes was total shit today (as usual) :D :D Running around like a headless chicken.

You have to remember that Chico has only started 8 matches all season...he has come on as sub for the other games getting the odd 10-20 mins, usually when the damage has already been inflicted, not the best way to prove your skills. But has managed to score 4 and chipped in with a couple of assists.I think you will find a different Chico if and I hope when he can play the odd 90 mins with Anderson and Nasri he will be able to show his true colors. With Arnie out of the way and Nasri back in we need to keep faith with the Little Pea and i think we will be pleasantly surprised.

The change we could have made in that 2nd half was Zabby on for Chico.. Sounds bad huh? Hold on.
Push Antonio up top and Fredericks right midfield. Slot zabby right back. That would have given us pace up top and down the right and made us more solid down that side where Palace was targeting Would have also taken some heat off Anderson because Palace would have had to re shuffle.
I'd love to see Fred play right wing or right midfield. He has pace to burn, faster than Antonio.

Fuck me..this team piss me off...

1985...started a thread about inconsistency between matches....said it happens during games..
that was the epitome of that..
First half was chuffed, playing some great footie..nice movement....MF situation sorted as best we
can...really happy....would have started Zabs over Fred(experience coping with Zaha),and Arnie
over Chico..(fuckin hell talk about Hero to Zero.. )...not on board with that...YET..

Second Half ..well...different team, just clung on...We just sat to deep. This is Players fault as much
Pellers,Mark should be pushing them up,and Mr P should be screaming it from touchline, you will
struggle with a high line and a deep lying MF..gets to congested...no space to play out.
Also we need to learn/play a High Press system at times, will struggle till we do IMO.
We don't adapt or have a plan B....when we on top 1st half would have switched to 4-3-3,
Don't think Chico brings enough and as an isolated striker/hold up guy, which you need in a 4-5-1
def not...3 up top would make a difference.....should be able to switch and change during a
game...not play a system and stick with it thru out.

Been holding out that maybe we could still nick 7th......Wolves win monday, think that's
prob the end of that...hate giving up but gotta be realistic...

But you never know.....

No way we get 7th. Watford and Wolves look a better team than us right now. Can't expect us to claim that spot with half a squad out of action.
