That's eye opening, Cast...

Got to have a lot to do with having poor creative players around them.

My general impression of all these "flops" is not missing lots of chances, but not getting too many scoring opportunities.

During the earlier part of their reign we've usually been a poor team relying mainly on having had a good keeper and a solid pair of centre backs to keep us afloat.

amazing how bad that list is... the return on the vast majority of those strikers is shocking

even sahko, would of though he had a better ratio, then again with his "injuries" and sub appearances i guess that makes sense

pellegrinis only striker, perez, ranks up there as one of the best.. if thats the new standard then thank fuck

Wow. That is an amazingly shithouse bunch of buttfucking shitcunts there.

Work out how much has been spent on transfers and wages on that lot, and little Dave might just about neck himself.

Fuck me, that’s a horrible bunch there. I mean really, really, depressingly horrible.

The trouble there is A LOT of those players were stop gap measures for the ponytailed physio worrier.
Looking down the list you could say maybe only Ba and Valencia were serious efforts at signing a starter. Most of the rest were loans, bargain hunts, punts, or leftovers from a Championship campaign. Neither Barrera or Arnautovic were signed as strikers, for example.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

I think Fabianski saved us a lot of points last season too mate.
Looking on that list, there are a couple that I can't for the life of me ever remember lining up for us!.

Not a great list, Demba ba the stand out for me.
If Grant hadn't taken us down that year and we'd kept hold of Ba he would have taken over Carroll.
Difference now is we have genuine creative talent in the midfield and on the wings, so IF the Haller pursuit is on the level and IF we get him it could be a real exciting season, lot of IFs. Although I do have more faith at the minute-Pellegrini a country mile in front of BFS Moyes Grant etc specially at player recruitment

Totally agreed, just need at least 2 strikers (1 on first starter, e.g. Haller IF we get him without a hitch) plus a 2nd striker either on loan or with lower fees whatever available. Chicharito looked like he is staying and with Xandi Silva waiting on the front for his starter from youth is not far off so hopefully to have better goal-scoring striker since Cottee in 1987 that is WAY overdue. Pellegrini has been doing a good jobs with Husillio and hope to have a good better season as long as NO injuries curse against us, like last season when we had 9 top players out for so long and disrupted season. Also hope the VAR will not let top 6 side get away with it like they did last season against us, especially Liverpool and away to Man Utd that we were robbed of at least 5 points.
