It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

I'm just surprised it's taken until August for someone to ask the annual question, usually it's just after the transfer window opens

How many clubs have gone under/dropped into obscurity spunking money they don't have?
We don't have a billionaire owner and need to balance the books
2 big signings that hopefully will come good
It's not easy competing with the big boys in this league, slow and steady will come good, be patient.
My response to that would be .. Why the stadium move then? I thought it was to take us on to the next level?
We've spent more when we were at Upton Park
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the biggest fan of our owners

For me the next level is comfortable top half with a place in the Europa, we would not be ready for anything more imo

One of the biggest signings outside of the to clubs is intent enough for me

Well apparently we've sold a load of players, and Sullivan has pocketed the lot

I agree with Mr Works to a degree. 2 very decent signings that are young enough to bring sell on value to replace If and When they leave. The fact they came here suggests we are indeed building a team that can break into that top 6. Wont be this season but one or 2 next year and we will be close. The owners are not big enough to spend 200 Million. What they keep on doing however is pushing up record transfer fee up. We have some valuable assets in the club now. Diop, Rice, Anderson, Haller , Fornals and Lanzini have solid prices on their heads. What is the most we have sold a player for?
Happy Hammer here.
Would Haller, Fornals and Diop be here if we were still at Upton Park???? Would Lanzini have stayed?
Depends , if we had got Pellegrini in through the gates at Upton Park , or if Bilic had been given the same budget and the authority to spend has he wished , players may well of , Lanzini came .
I feel if Bilic had been given a shed full of money the outcome wouldnt be much different, he was a weak manager, nice guy and that was maybe his problem.

As for where the money has gone, who cares anymore!? Most went to Sullivan etc directly or indirectly, think the fact its his loan that gauls us, that and the interest the greedy git charges, but thats been risen before. It will always be thus, but at least we are getting in what appears to be better signings, and we shouldnt grumble at that, regardless of the dwarfs motives.

He’s saving shitloads in wages and made a bit in transferring a bunch of petulant, perpetually injured, second-rate, yesterday’s heroes.

Save for two or three on that list, I’m glad to see the back of them.

Sullivan has given plenty of reasons over the years to cop a slagging off, but this isn’t one of them.

The one thing that totally fucks me off...always will do as long as they're here is the...

"We're doing this as fans and see it as a non profit making venture"...and quite happy putting that
in quotations,as can back it up.
They might have wanted us "football wise",well Gold anyway...not Sulli so much..
But..
If they'd got what they wanted at Brum ...they'd still be there...But the chance of Owning an
Olympic Stadium came calling.

Their just riding the PL wave..it's easy money for them, that's the way they like it.

At the Moment they're only doing what everyone else is doing...no need to be thanking them,
or any letting of the hook for previous failings...IMO...

You take to much money out of any business you Own for short term gain, and don't use profits
made from that business to invest for long term gain....it stagnates...just ticks over
and will falter as other Business's invest and pass you by....(Wolves..e.g)
The 3 of them are very lucky,to be in the situation they're in...far from outstanding
businessmen/women...include Brady in that..

It Stands out a Mile.....Themselves First...West Ham Second......investment company fine..
get it....not from people that supposedly "love the Club" and all it stands for...

In the main don't care how people make their money,or how much, but don't lie...it's football
it's different its part of peoples, the communities lives..
