Crystal Palace vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Post by Ibbyham » Tue Feb 05, 2019 8:37 pm

Following our excellent performance against Liverpool and unlucky to not to win, hopefully, West Ham will perform every match and need to keep consistantly.

I fully expected a same squad and Arnie may be on a bench at least. Frederick did well and hope he will keep it up.

Fabianski

Frederick
Diop
Ogbonna
Cresswell

Snodgrass
Noble
Rice
Anderson

Antonio
Chicharito/Arnautovic

Hopefully a good performance plus better quality linesman/referee. Hope to keep our good record at Selhurst Park.

Prediction: 21212 1 - 2 West Ham fans United

Would be tempted to make a couple of changes for this one, not because anyone deserves you be dropped from last night, but we have to go on who the opposition is.

Id go:

Fabianski
Zabaleta, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell
Noble, Rice
Antonio, Nasri, Anderson
Hernandez

Zaba in for Fredericks. I think he was really good yesterday but he's just back from a few months out and i think Zaba will suit the smaller/tighter pitch where pace isn't necessary. I'd bring Fredericks into the next home game where we can really utilise his pace/attacking threat.

Nasri for Snodgrass. Once again he did nothing wrong as worked his socks off as usual. It will beat different type of game vs Palace where we'll probably have more of the ball, so we will need some creativity from Midfield, rather than the counter attacking style we had vs Liverpool.

Big game to show that we can 'get up' for these sort of games and not just play well against the big teams.

Will be there for that one with some of the Hammerschat regulars and thoroughly looking forward to it.
A cracking away day is Palace.
Last season’s game was going so well up until the 96th minute.

Palace now will be a trickier challenge than the team we beat earlier in the season.
They may be without Zaha but they now have Benteke and Batshuayi (you just know that cunt’s going to score).

Here's hoping that the team don't go into this game thinking it's going to be easier just because it palace

The team that worked so well to thwart Liverpool should start this game.

4 teams above us:
Leicester away to Spuds.
Bournemouth away to Dippers.
Watford and Everton face each other.

Once again.....another open door for us to climb the table.......can we walk through it this time?

The cheating fucker has asked for a personal hearing after being charged for sarcastically applauding the ref after his red card at Saints.

Personally I hope they string the cunt up. Palace have been awarded 7 penalties in the PL this season. Most of them won by Zaha. A couple justified granted, the others dubious. And it's the same season after season.

By the letter of the law he should be suspended but who knows how the FA will react.

Diving aside he's very dangerous, bringing the ball out and running at defences.

We'll have a better chance without him.

In true West Ham fashion we will no doubt lose to Palace after the quality shown in the performance against Liverpool.

Evidently it's cashless in stadium...cards only for beer/food etc...

Yeah he was their principle threat at the home fixture, although fortunately for us there was no-one in the middle to stick the ball in.
Now they do have people up front who more than know where the goal is.
As you say, I hope they throw the book and a brick or three at him.

Id honestly play Perez over Chica, Chica has had more chances and Perez had one of his apperance alongside Chica in a hugely ineffective Partnership. I'd like tho evaluate a Antonio/Perez combo.
