All week in an Isuzu Tradepack and go quoting weekends in a hilux dual cab 4x4.
Boss just bought herself a Ford Escape. I think they're called kugas over there but Ford thought middle aged milfy types wouldn't buy them with a name like that.
No Ute ?
The dual cabs a ute. Every tradie has one now and most are never used for work. Its all to do with getting some dosh back from the tax man. 4 seats, a tray that's only big enough for the dog but every dollar spent on it helps with the tax bill. I used to call them show pony utes but then woke up and smelt the coffee.
Have got a proper ute but the young bloke drives that.
Had an escort van for work when I left in 88. Had a raised roof and everyone called it the popemobile. Car was a granada with a nice vinyl roof. Got pinched from canning town one night, probably grandad and his mates, and the cunts done a ram raid through some glass doors and fucked the roof. How you been, anyway?

Going good mate. You? Went out with some friends who lived in the maisonettes on the corner of hermit rd and barking rd where the buses used to park. Go in our car they said. Park yours over there. Came back in a cab, granada nada. Old bill rang up midweek said we got your car. Covered in the shit they use for fingerprints. What a waste of time that was. But they can't be told. :D

Happicabs.
Good little firm with a nice little app for bookings.
GPS tracking of your taxi, text message notifications, reasonable prices and account options.
What's not to like.

Best way to spend any Sunday morning mate, rain or shine (shine's better of course). Should try your hand at a bit of coaching, I'm sure you'd love it.

Just out of interest what age group do your grandsons play at ?
