Did not see Haller do too much last Saturday, hope he is not Sicknote Mark II.

Seriously? Some of his touches and lay-offs first half were top class and really got the crowd going. Don't take my word for it though, this is from the BBC report

"Haller, who scored 14 goals in 27 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt last season, immediately looked a more than capable replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who moved to China in the summer.

His excellent hold-up play and ability to bring in others was a big factor in the Hammers dominating their opponents in the opening 20 minutes.

West Ham have not had a 20-goal-a-season striker since Teddy Sheringham back in 2004-05. Whether Haller can hit that target this season only time will tell, but his all-round play means he looks set to be a useful acquisition."

He's only injured because Rodri absolutely clattered him before their 5th

That maybe true we will see, the simple truth is that in three transfer windows I believe MP has only brought in a very small number of players with PL experience, that is the chance you take, and sadly our past record with recent overseas players is not that good.

Whilst you're right, the strategy for transfers has changed since July 2018 and if you look at the players MP has brought in only Perez has been a 'failure' so far
