  • West Ham v Arsenal – Match Preview
by Brian Knox on December 9, 2019 at 6:44 pm

West Ham United V Arsenal Well after another disappointing away performance we find ourselves very much at a crossroads with many people now split between letting Pellagrini go now and others who want him to stay. Wolves, midweek were much better than us in a game I feel we lacked a real spark in the… The post West Ham v Arsenal – Match Preview appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Patience for Pablo – Fornals has Started to Show up
by Emily Pulham on December 8, 2019 at 9:49 pm

Written by: George M. There was a huge buzz of excitement around the club when West Ham forked out £24 million for the young attacking midfielder, Fornals, from Villarreal. Between Fornals signing for the club and playing his first game, us fans could take a glimpse of our new signing at the under-21 European Championship… The post Patience for Pablo – Fornals has Started to Show up appeared first on The West Ham Way. • The vultures circle – More names for the hat
by Emily Pulham on December 8, 2019 at 5:42 pm

Written by : Nick Moore The Chelsea success raised hopes. The Wolves defeat was eerily familiar. We weren’t awful, but we didn’t get anything. Nor in truth did we deserve anything. In the current form table (last eight games) we are bottom. Of the four teams we have beaten this season two Norwich and Watford… The post The vultures circle – More names for the hat appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • The Pace Problem – An over-reliance on Antonio?
by Emily Pulham on December 8, 2019 at 5:32 pm

Written by: Graham Keeffe At the beginning of the season when Antonio picked up that nasty long-term injury, it became apparent very quickly that West Ham had a problem. A serious lack of pace. Since his return, Antonio has rejuvenated the Irons’ attack. With dogged determination, Antonio hustled and harried the Chelsea defence on his… The post The Pace Problem – An over-reliance on Antonio? appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Player Ratings v Wolves
by Emily Pulham on December 7, 2019 at 9:42 am

Written by : Jonathan Lee Another somewhat painful watch albeit against a decent Wolves outfit, but three efforts on goal in 90 minutes simply isn’t good enough … Martin 6.5 – not much he could do about either of the goals, generally tidy otherwise and a couple of decent saves, clearly our No 1 now… The post Player Ratings v Wolves appeared first on The West Ham Way. • West Ham have become competitive since changing goalkeeper but is Pellegrini’s decision-making affecting their chances of winning?
by Emily Pulham on December 7, 2019 at 9:37 am

Written by : Corey Kemp It was a crash down to earth for West Ham fans after the lofty heights of beating long-time London rivals Chelsea on Saturday. Manuel Pellegrini’s men lost 2-0 away at Molineux in mid-week, showing a lack of creativity in movement in the final third. It was going to be a… The post West Ham have become competitive since changing goalkeeper but is Pellegrini’s decision-making affecting their chances of winning? appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Wolves v West Ham – Match Preview
by Brian Knox on December 4, 2019 at 6:13 pm

Deportivo Hammer 04/12/2019 What a difference a week and a keeper makes. Just when we needed to put in a performance we did and not just the keeper, everyone played their part in getting the 3 points in a game which I found hard to watch, particularly the last 10 mins. But we held our… The post Wolves v West Ham – Match Preview appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Man of the Match Vs Chelsea
by Emily Pulham on December 4, 2019 at 2:02 pm

Written by: George M Saturday’s win over Chelsea was vintage West Ham. After going nearly two and a half months without a win, the lads put in the best shift they have done all season. Performances like Saturday’s keep us fans guessing what sort of team will turn up for our remaining fixtures. It is… The post Man of the Match Vs Chelsea appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Martin Makes Immediate Impact
by Emily Pulham on December 3, 2019 at 8:12 pm

Written by: Graham Keeffe After a torrid run of form, West Ham ended their winless drought by outclassing an in-form Chelsea side 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. While this was the Hammers’ fourth clean sheet of the season, it was a first for premier league debutant David Martin, who stole the show with both his heroics… The post Martin Makes Immediate Impact appeared first on The West Ham Way.
