  • Match Ratings from the Everton game
by ExWHUEmployee on September 18, 2018 at 5:46 pm

Written by George Lewis Lukasz Fabianski: Another solid display from the Polish stopper, who could do nothing to stop Sigurdsson’s fantastic header. Given the defence’s susceptibility from crosses, Fabianski’s willingness to claim the ball is a simple but vital quality that Adrian has always lacked, and this is perhaps the main difference that proves the… The post Match Ratings from the Everton game appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Everton 1-3 West Ham – Match Report
by Brian Knox on September 16, 2018 at 6:35 pm

Match Report by @WestHamAmerican West Ham finally found a victory after a disastrous start to their 2018-19 campaign.  A first half brace by Andriy Yarmolenko, and a second half goal by Marco Arnautovic were enough to overcome a late, opening half goal by the hosts, as Manuel Pelligrini earned his first league victory with the… The post Everton 1-3 West Ham – Match Report appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Welcome Back, Manuel Lanzini!
by Emily Pulham on September 16, 2018 at 9:07 am

Written by Jack O’Flaherty Lanzini has returned to Rush Green, and we need him more than ever. It’s safe to say it hasn’t been the best start to the season. Our new signings have failed to click – and from the first few games, we have shown a real lack of creative ideas, particularly in… The post Welcome Back, Manuel Lanzini! appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Jav-ier seen Hernandez?
by ExWHUEmployee on September 11, 2018 at 12:25 pm

Written by @elflainjoe For all the defensive frailties that West Ham have shown so far this season, perhaps more worrying is their inability to create, and score goals. There are plenty of opinions as to why this may be, and how to resolve it. But there is a seemingly simple solution sitting on the bench… The post Jav-ier seen Hernandez? appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • What is going wrong this season?
by ExWHUEmployee on September 8, 2018 at 10:41 am

By Max Friend (@max41955014) £90 million worse off and with no real visible improvement from last season, many of us are at a loss as to why these pricey players signed in the window aren’t paying the dividends  we expected from them when they arrived in Stratford during the summer. Without so much as a point… The post What is going wrong this season? appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Do we have a right to boo or should we try to be positive…
by ExWHUEmployee on September 7, 2018 at 8:10 pm

Written by English Hammer Since the early teen years, my brother and I adopted our team “through blood”. With York City, Middlesbrough and Leeds United geographically closest to us as we grew up in the 80’s, none of them felt right. Our parents had relocated at marriage but the bloodline and our accents definitely weren’t… The post Do we have a right to boo or should we try to be positive… appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Away Days: Goodison Park
by ExWHUEmployee on September 6, 2018 at 9:18 pm

Written by @craigpodevin Without a point in 4 games and we’re heading to a stadium that we’ve historically struggled at (except the year we had the snake). I’m really hoping we can get a win to kick start our season, but I would be happy with taking a point home from here! • MANUEL PELLEGRINI BETTER GET HIS ACT TOGETHER AND FAST
by ExWHUEmployee on September 6, 2018 at 9:03 pm

Written by @farehamhammer What an absolute shamble ! If Pellegrini does not get his act together fast ,we will be relegated ,which would be absolutely disastrous for the Club. Four defeats from four, with Everton ,Chelsea and Manchester United to come means we face a very realistic scenario of  losing seven matches from seven. I have heard… The post MANUEL PELLEGRINI BETTER GET HIS ACT TOGETHER AND FAST appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Marlon Harewood talks Pardew, Curbishley and Mullins v Mascherano
by Emily Pulham on September 6, 2018 at 7:15 am

The West Ham Way Pre-Match Event guest for the Wolves game was a sharp dressing and sharp shooting former West Ham striker whose fantastic strike propelled West Ham into the 2006 FA Cup Final – the one and only Marlon Harewood. Harewood joined the Hammers under Alan Pardew in 2003, and became the top scorer… The post Marlon Harewood talks Pardew, Curbishley and Mullins v Mascherano appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]
