Match Report by @WestHamAmerican West Ham won today 4-3 to Huddersfield Town in a Premier League match in the London Stadium. Late goals by Javier Hernandez, and Angelo Ogbonna allowed them to avoid an embarrassing loss to a soon-to-be relegated club that came to life with goals from Juninho Bacuna, and a brace from Karlen… The post West Ham 4-3 Huddersfield – Match Report appeared first on The West Ham Way. • West Ham v Huddersfield – Match Preview
by Brian Knox on March 16, 2019 at 1:39 pm

Same old West Ham I hear you all saying, superb at home against Newcastle and then abysmal away to Cardiff. It’s going to take the manager a bit longer than 9 months to install the winners mentality and change the way West Ham have been for certainly as long as I can remember. We barely… The post West Ham v Huddersfield – Match Preview appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • The Missed Chance: How Close West Ham Came To A Docker’s Derby This Season
by ExWHUEmployee on March 12, 2019 at 5:08 pm

Written by James Matthews When West Ham surprisingly lost 4-2 to AFC Wimbledon in this year’s FA Cup, it meant two fierce rivals had to wait a little longer for one of England’s most intense derby matches. It was certainly one of the shocks of the round, with the Hammers expected to turn over a… The post The Missed Chance: How Close West Ham Came To A Docker’s Derby This Season appeared first on The West Ham Way. Pellegrini has tried different strategies to try… The post A selection of strikers appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Rice, Rice Baby
by Emily Pulham on March 6, 2019 at 6:08 pm

Written by: @daena_bodie It was only a few weeks ago that we looked at how Declan Rice had become the first name on West Ham’s team sheet, and since then he has continued to grow into his role in the middle of the park for the Hammers. At first, it was all too easy to believe… The post Rice, Rice Baby appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • A strong defensive show
by Emily Pulham on March 6, 2019 at 6:00 pm

Written by: ConorCulver Following last Wednesday’s slim 1-0 loss to Manchester City, it is clear that when push comes to shove, West Ham have it in them to play defensive football. Given the outcome of the game at the London Stadium, and with goal difference potentially becoming a factor in the race for seventh, a… The post A strong defensive show appeared first on The West Ham Way. Written by : Nick Moore I was 12 years old when Billy Bonds signed for West Ham, so my tactical analysis of his early years at the club may be a bit limited – but he was exciting. He was a fantastic athlete and his rampaging forward runs were a thing to behold. Billy has… The post Billy Bonds – One Fan’s Appreciation appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]
