by Emily Pulham on January 24, 2020 at 8:23 pm

Written by : @JGriffithJourno Prior to the season’s opening game, we as a fan base began to dream. We began to dream of fast-flowing, liquid football with Seb Haller acting as the creator for a fluid front three behind him of new signing Pablo Fornals, Samba Star Felipe Anderson and fit-again Manuel Lanzini. We had… The post Fornals and Lanzini appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • The Race To Beat The Drop – Which Teams Will Bite The Dust
by Emily Pulham on January 24, 2020 at 8:18 pm

Written by: George M. It’s an all too familiar feeling for us Hammers fans to be halfway through the season and find ourselves in the midst of a relegation battle. Far too often we have been at the wrong end of the table at this stage of the year and this season certainly looks like… The post The Race To Beat The Drop – Which Teams Will Bite The Dust appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Player Ratings v Leicester
by Emily Pulham on January 24, 2020 at 8:12 pm

Written by: Jonathan Lee Well we are truly in the middle of a crisis. Last night’s first half efforts are up there with some of the worst 45 minutes we’ve seen in many a day, reflected as such in some of the marks below: Randolph – 7.5 despite the scoreline could do little with any… The post Player Ratings v Leicester appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Transfer Mayhem
by Emily Pulham on January 18, 2020 at 10:25 am

Written by : Corey Kemp It’s just turned January and the mayhem of the transfer window is upon West Ham. This transfer window may be one of the most crucial in the club’s recent history. Failure to recruit effectively in the summer, despite spending over £60 million, finds David Moyes in dire need of energetic… The post Transfer Mayhem appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Going Straight Out the Window
by Emily Pulham on January 17, 2020 at 12:45 pm

Written by: @TheGinge10 The window has been open for over two weeks – and we’re in desperate need of strengthening – but what are our board doing, exactly? I’ll tell you – they are doing what they have always done, and that is react rather than be proactive! Anyone can you see we need strengthening… The post Going Straight Out the Window appeared first on The West Ham Way. […]

  • Missed Opportunity for our Goalkeeping Problems?
by Emily Pulham on January 17, 2020 at 12:36 pm

Written by: George M. Isn’t it just typical West Ham that after what felt like an eternity, Fabianski returned to the Starting XI after his injury and 4 games later he is out again. Super Fab was sorely missed during his time out and it looks like us fans will have to endure another couple… The post Missed Opportunity for our Goalkeeping Problems? appeared first on The West Ham Way. by Emily Pulham on January 15, 2020 at 8:01 pm

Written by : Jonathan Lee We are now 21 games into the season on 22 points (the game in hand is largely illusory given it is Liverpool) which, if replicated to the end of the season could put us on around 38 points – enough to secure safety in each of the last three seasons. … The post It’s Not Adding Up appeared first on The West Ham Way. • The Life and Crimes of VAR
by Emily Pulham on January 14, 2020 at 8:00 pm

Written by: Graham Keeffe Another week, another example of how VAR and the controversial Law 12 handball rule in their current states are sucking the enjoyment out of football. Declan Rice described how his team were left “fuming” in the dressing room at full time on Friday night as the Hammers had a last minute… The post The Life and Crimes of VAR appeared first on The West Ham Way. • Player Ratings v Sheffield United
by Emily Pulham on January 14, 2020 at 12:55 pm

Written by : Jonathan Lee [Fabianski – sadly enforced substitution after 15 mins so no mark given] Martin – 5 responsible for a second half howler that sealed our defeat, but a good second half stop that kept us in it; Zabaleta – 6 rarely got forward but for the main part fairly steady at… The post Player Ratings v Sheffield United appeared first on The West Ham Way.
