Declan Rice was yesterday confirmed to have picked England over Ireland via many media outlets, but it appears that many of those were premature and Rice is still deciding on his future.

The 19-year-old has been a revelation for West Ham and is currently one of the hottest prospects in England.

Rice has already made over 30 Premier League appearances for the Hammers and is adapting and learning game by game, each time looking more impressive than the last.

Yesterday, Sky Sports and many other large media outlets claimed that Rice had chosen England over Ireland, but the ever reliable ExWHUEmployee seems to think differently.

When talking about whether the rumours were true, he tweeted: “No he hasn’t made a decision yet and wants time to concentrate on the club for now”.

This really is credit to just how professional this young man is and how much he loves the club.

Regardless of who Rice decides to play for at international level, he is going to be a sensational player and is already a well-established part of Manuel Pellegrini’s midfield trio.

The 19-year-old is displaying such levels of maturity and it is refreshing to see such a humble, down to earth footballer coming through the academy and making a mark on the first team.

Wherever he decides to play, just know that country has a serious talent on their hands.

West Ham fan for as long as I can remember. I was flukey enough to watch The Irons beat Bury 10-0 in my first ever game . . . True to form, West Ham then went out and signed their central defender 😬
