The 3 players West Ham must sell in January.

1. Javier Hernandez

A big name signing that quite frankly, hasn’t cut the mustard since joining the hammers back in 2017. The Mexican has struggled to hit any kind of form having now played over 40 games in claret and blue, managing just the 10 goals. With the recent arrival of Manuel Pellegrini, Javier has only been surplus to requirements in East London. As the Chilean manager opts for Marko Arnautovic to strongly lead the line, game time for the former United star seems limited. Which means West Ham’s highest paid player could be leaving East London sooner rather than later.

2. Aaron Cresswell

With West Ham having kept only 1 clean sheet in the league so far this season, the main priority come January will be shoring up that left hand side The now 28-year-old has struggled with both his form and fitness in the past two seasons and has failed to really establish himself as the main man for the hammers. Although you could probably flip a coin between the Englishman and fellow left back Arthur Masuaku as to whom should be leaving in January, it looks like the former hammer of the year may be on the way out to make room for a new defensive recruit.

3. Michael Antonio

West Ham Vs Burnley

Often used as a substitute by Pellegrini, the £70,000-a-week man hasn’t showed his worth in recent times often struggling to show any end product. Having racked up 11 appearances so far this season and failing to produce a goal or an assist in any of the matches, the attacker is only slipping further down the pecking order. Needing more firepower in attack after summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko picked up a long-term injury, the hammers will look to move Michael on to fund for a potential replacement.
