Some views on individual stats

Due to our dominance, our passing and attacking stats were higher that defensive.

Zabaleta – Good all round stats

Balbuena – With no need for a dominant defensive performance, he showed lower stats that normal but still added another 4 clearances. Lower than average pass completion.

Diop – Topped our defensive stats including 6 clearances, 3 completed tackles and 3 interceptions, also topped our pass completion rate at 94%

Cresswell – Very similar stats to Zabaleta, solid.

Rice – Our highest recoveries with 12.

Diangana – Completed 6 take-ons & created 5 chances, both our highest stats.

Obiang – Taken off on 61mins, no defensive stats, completed 20 passes from 25 (80%)

Anderson – Top attacking stats, including 28 passes in the attacking third. 4 shots on target including his 2 goals. Also topped most passes with 57 from 75 attempted.

Snodgrass – 2nd highest attacking stats behind Anderson.

Arnautovic – Completed 24 passes in final third, 3 shots on target and created 2 chances.

Hernandez – Doesn’t really show anything in the stats apart from his shot on target (Goal)

West Ham fan for as long as I can remember. I was flukey enough to watch The Irons beat Bury 10-0 in my first ever game . . . True to form, West Ham then went out and signed their central defender 😬
