Re: West Ham vs Luton Official Match Thread

Once again we are presented with a chance to have a look at some emerging talent. Once again I suspect the opportunity will be overlooked. I had a book about West Ham "From Greenwood to Redknapp" seasons 1961 to 1997 and most seasons in 1960 we had quite a few youth made their grade and d...

Re: Saying goodbye to Moyesie

What a mean spirited bunch of cunts. I have at times been fed up with the backs to the wall defensive tactics, but he has done a very good job, where at the start of every April we have still been fighting for something positive, either league position or Europe or both. What really made me fed up ...

Re: Who writes this SHITE ?

I would argue that the no trophy for 43 years wasn't entirely true. We won the Intertoto cup in 1999 to qualify for the Europa, just like last year. The difference was there were less games. To win in Metz after losing the home leg was a better win than beating Fiorentina imo. I was there in Metz, ...

Re: Lopegetui agreed to become our next manager.

We have to give Loppy a chance to see how things pan out, after all he has managed some pretty decent sides, Real Madrid, Sevilla and the Spanish national team so there must be something in him. Ibby I get what you have heard about his style but there is nothing wrong with a defensive style (see Rea...

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham Official Match Thread

This is becoming a farse, just sack Moyes and put a caretaker in for Luton and City and let whoever is going to be our new manager look at the squad so we can start the rebuild at the end of this season.

Re: Prediction League - Round 35 - Results

Dear Wollongongian,
I think the American part of me is showing through, with my pathetic scores this year, next week I will accurately predict the correct number of touchdowns for all the soccer teams ;)

Re: Prediction League - Round 34 - Results

Apologies for the delay fellas - it's school holidays, and I'm away. Where do we start? How about them Bindippers? That picked my mood up somewhat after our debacle. 1989 top scores with 170 points. Pretty good effort mate. Well done (and about time). Ibby, Leebo, and Dano all came in second with 1...

Re: West Ham vs Liverpool Official Match Thread

Thanks Ibby, Liverpool are in a bad place, so who better to get on track with....
I think we will see if our players are all behind Moyes by their performance.
If we are up for it I think at least a draw, If as I believe they don't want Moyes back we will ship 3 or 4 goals.
