Re: Soucek - Goals next season

Personally I couldn't give a monkeys who actually puts the ball in the fucking net, providing as a team we are doing it with reasonable regularity. A team is only as good as it's component parts all working well together. Soucek is an important cog in the machine, irrespective of whether he is scori...

Re: IPTV/Kodi/streaming/torrenting /broadband etc thread

As I think I've said before I use LA Deportes which is a Kodi add on. The quality of picture is perfect and there are very rarely any glitches in service, particularly if it's a Bein Sports stream and you don't mind listening to an Arabic commentary. ;) I've never had to use IPTV but I know a lot o...

Re: West Ham vs Genk Official Match Thread

He is not suited to the fast pace and physicality of the Premier League. My impression of European football is it is much slower and you can barely touch a player. Not his fault but just never going to work in the PL. The HC youtube channel get topical and suggest David Moyes mistook a peregrine fa...

Re: IPTV/Kodi/streaming/torrenting /broadband etc thread

Thanks, will take a look at both. Although my provider has been good, they have just had a massive influx of users and their servers seem to be struggling Yep that’s what put me off Hyper . All JCM customers (ex Sportz tv). Let me know if I can help 👍🏻 As I think I've said before I use LA Deportes ...

I'm inclined to lean to the view that if as reported, Steve Bruce will receive a £7M payout - then both parties achieved what they wanted.
Hope Newcastle will get Sam Allardyce.
They had him once before didn't they ?

The Offside Law

I'm sure this idea must have been floated before but since VAR arrived on the scene we've all seen situations where the position of someone's big toe caused an otherwise perfectly legitimate goal to be scrubbed out. Just a thought but would it not maybe be better to tweak the offside rule so that if...

Re: Newcastle Takeover

Oh, surprise surprise. The moment the Saudi government. or more particularly Mohammad Bin Salman, started exerting pressure on the UK government by saying UK- Saudi relations could be damaged if the takeover didn't happen, the deal was going to go through. The Premier League, F A, Daniel Levy and an...

Re: West Ham vs Genk Official Match Thread

City would have hammered any side with that performance tonight. Brugge drew with PSG in their last home game which gives an idea just how good City were. And Ajax beat Borussia Dortmund 4-0. Haller 2 assists, 1 goal Haller is the top scorer in the PL at the moment. Probably proves there is a very ...

Re: Over Rated & Over Priced Players

It was always going to end in tears imo. Ronaldo may well have been signed to boost shirt sales, but he is also a player who has to be picked. So the rest of the team has to be structured to accommodate him. Which, surely, is the opposite to how it should work. Indeed, but a good manager would know...

Re: West Ham vs Genk Official Match Thread

I think I'm right in sating they were in the CL a season or two back. Not seen any Jupiler League games but Brugge look a decent outfit in the CL and have beaten Leipzig and drawn with PSG. Be interesting to see how they cope with Man City tonight. As you say it's pretty much make or break for Genk...
