Re: West Ham Ins & Outs 2023/24

😄

Well if we get more for Zouma than we pay for Macguire I’d accept it gracefully.

Re: West Ham Ins & Outs 2023/24

Talks have reopened with Manure for slabhead. :( 100% he will stay at Man Utd, we don't need him, we don't need McTominay and we don't need Greenwood as these will not improve our squad. Spot on. Whilst the fee for Macguire may be reasonable the wages will not. I think he’s decent but not an upgrad...

I often send your posts to my Watford supporting mate, he says you are the Shakespeare of East London. Completely missed the opportunity for “The Bard of Stratford High Street”. 🙂

Re: West Ham vs Chelsea Official Match Thread

Having had time to sleep on it….. For all their possession Chelsea created little… we had six shots on target, they had four - ignoring the penalties, 5-3. I thought Sterling played well and was a worry for us all game. But they couldn’t support him. Areola MOM but mainly for the pen save and reacti...

Re: West Ham vs Chelsea Official Match Thread

And we thought fixture overload was something new. ;) 66 was a little before my time but I've never been able to un derstand why a team with 3 WC winning players in it consistently performed so bloody badly in the league. The rest of the team must have been pretty bloody dire is all I can think. Wo...

Re: West Ham vs Chelsea Official Match Thread

This game falls on the anniversary of my first game at UP on 20/8/66. It was my 10th birthday present from my uncle, we stood in the Chicken Run. Coincidentally also vs Chelsea, and also our first home game after a trophy win, albeit then for the national team. The players just came out to rapturous...

Re: West Ham Ins & Outs 2023/24

I bought my "relegation insurance" at 16/1 a week or so ago. Betfair is usually the best - but Oddschecker.com is the equivalent of CompareTheMarket.com if you want to compare. I do it every season to cover the cost of the ST for a couple of seasons if we go down. A very negative thing to ...

Re: Rice

Kumb contributor reply to Rice’s heartfelt farewell message “West Ham fans used to be known for their wit and their nous, but it seems we all start balling when we read an open letter? It's a cynically crafted piece of PR written weeks ago designed to keep West Ham fans in their box. It's deliberat...
